Critter Caliber Assets

Critter Caliber is a scrapped student project that I worked on with a team of 8 other classmates in the Spring of 2022. The game would have been a “bullet-hell” about capturing monsters that can turn into guns to help you escape the alien planet you crash landed on. I worked on modelling, UV unwrapping, and texturing. One of the most useful workflow skills I learned on the project was how to create texture atlases and I was in charge of managing them for the game. Our goal was to achieve a simplistic cartoon aesthetic with flat colors to allow for rapid iteration. I have included the character concept turn arounds created by Bettina Tan so you can compare them to the final models.
